eBook Ann Leary Ê The Children: A Novel ePUB º The Children: PDF or Ê children: book, novel mobile, The Children: pdf, The Children: A Novel PDF/EPUBI'm giving this book five stars because of the author's writing She is fantastic at creating memorable believable uirky characters with individual voices Also it is the perfect length for what it is If it had been any longer I'm not sure I would have delved much further into itNot only are the characters well written and believable but the location the family cottage the settingall of it you feel as though you are witnessing it as you read It reads like a movie I'm sure everyone will picture the scenery and people a little different but you really get a feel as if you are watching and not readingThe first 23 of this book move a little slow However C

eBook Ann Leary Ê The Children: A Novel ePUB º The Children: PDF or Ê children: book, novel mobile, The Children: pdf, The Children: A Novel PDF/EPUBI was looking forward to reading this book but was very disappointed especially after all the five star reviews The story just drones on and on and goes nowhere and if there was a point to it I missed it Also it was so predictable a five year old could have figured it out I would have given it only one star but I liked Ann Learys other books and I think she is a good author

eBook Ann Leary Ê The Children: A Novel ePUB º The Children: PDF or Ê children: book, novel mobile, The Children: pdf, The Children: A Novel PDF/EPUBI picked up The Children because I loved Ann Leary's last book The Good House I'm afraid The Children didn't live up to my expectations There were some interesting characters and a vivid setting But I found the writing to be laborious there was an awful lot of telling over showing paragraphs of back story that could have been revealed organically through dialogue and action and unnecessary details added to conversations Some of the dialogue felt forced and the online comments on Charlotte's blog sounded like what a novice Internet user would expect blog comments to be like instead of what they're actually like While the plot overall was promising much of it wasn't believable For example I didn't get a sense of what animated Charlotte and Everett's relationship Spin's angry outbursts

Well that's what you'll learnClever twists and turns some endearing characters though overall perhaps a bit unmentionable Stil
